Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Trade Apprentice (Fitter, Electrician, Machinist etc.): 10th pass + 2-year ITI course in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT).
- Technician Apprentice: 3-year full-time Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation, Electronics etc. with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Graduate Apprentice: B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./BBA with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
- Data Entry Operator (Fresher): 12th pass (below graduate).
- Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holder): 12th pass + Skill Certificate of Domestic Data Entry Operator.
Age Limit
- Minimum: 18 Years
- Maximum: 24 Years (as on 30th September 2025)
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC-NCL – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years
IOCL Apprentice Stipend 2025
Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per Apprentices Act, 1961:
- Graduate Apprentice: Approx. Rs. 9,000/month
- Technician Apprentice: Approx. Rs. 8,000/month
- Trade Apprentice: Rs. 7,000 – Rs. 8,000/month
Selection Process
- Selection will be based on merit list (qualifying exam marks).
- No written test or interview.
- Preference to older candidates in case of tie.
- Final selection after document verification & medical fitness.
