SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024: The State Bank of India (SBI) has released a notification for the recruitment of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre. This recruitment includes 13735 vacancies distributed across various categories for All India and 50 Posts for the Ladakh Region. SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Candidates in the final year of graduation can apply provisionally, provided they can submit proof of passing by 31 December 2024.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age: 28 years
  • Relaxation in upper age limit as per government norms:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10-15 years depending on category.

SBI Clerk Selection Process

Preliminary Examination

  • Objective test for 100 marks, including English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability.
  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Negative marking of 1/4th for each wrong answer.

Main Examination

  • Objective test for 200 marks, including General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability with Computer Aptitude.
  • Duration: 2 hours and 40 minutes.
  • Section-wise timing applicable.

Language Proficiency Test

  • Candidates must be proficient in Urdu, Ladakhi, or Bhoti (Bodhi).
  • Those with 10th or 12th mark sheets as proof of language proficiency are exempted.

Final Selection

  • Based on marks obtained in the Main Examination and language proficiency.
