Necessary Notifications regarding GPSC Recruitment
- Note- The educational qualification and experience mentioned in this recruitment advertisement is for general understanding of the candidate. Provision of advertisement for certain types of educational qualification and experience. Recruitment rules of the post and recruitment (examination) rules have to be considered. The Commission shall have the unrestricted right to modify the number of posts in the advertisements published by the Commission subject to the proposal of the Department. – Considering the number of candidates, preliminary screening will be done through OMR/CBRT (Computer Based Recruitment Test).
- Educational qualification experience etc. will be as per detailed advertisement published on Commission website https://gpsc.gujarat.gov.in and https://gpsc-ojas.gujarat.gov.in.
- Out of the said Advertisement No: 44, 45 and 46/2023-24, selection will be made on the basis of total marks by calculating 50% weightage of the marks obtained out of 300 marks in the preliminary examination and 50% weightage of the marks obtained out of 100 marks in the face-to-face interview. That is, 50-50 percent weightage will be given to the marks obtained out of 300 and 100 marks in the preliminary test and face-to-face interview respectively. In the preliminary test, 100 questions of 100 marks will be of general studies and 200 questions of 200 marks will be of related subjects. (Applicants securing less than 15% marks in preliminary test in Sadharu advertisements will not be considered for face-to-face interview)
- For Advertisement No. 47/2023-24 candidates who fall within the eligibility criteria fixed by the Commission in the preliminary test and satisfy the provisions mentioned in the Recruitment Rules, Recruitment Examination Rules and the advertisement, approximately 15 (fifteen) times of the total number of vacancies will be admitted to the main written examination.
- Candidates selected on the posts of J.Kr.-48/2023-24 to J.Kr.-52/2023-24 Gujarat Jalsampatti Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GWRDC) shall be considered an employee. They will not be considered employees of Gujarat Government. These advertisements are issued subject to the recruitment rules and all other rules of the concerned institution for all vacancies.
- The selection list for all the advertisements will be finalized on the basis of merit. The final marks obtained by the candidate will be declared only at the time of final result.

- Apart from that, you must download and save a copy of the online confirmed application form and verify all your details, photo and signature in it.
- In case of more than one application, only the last confirmed application form will be accepted. Application form with last confirmed fee will be accepted for unreserved category candidates.
- Candidates should keep ready the certificates to be produced in case of eligibility for face-to-face interview and must produce them at the time of face-to-face interview. -Presenting only SSCE CERTIFICATE (with date of birth) for proof of age. Any other document will not be considered valid. Candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes should submit Annexure-K-Annexure-4 (Gujarati) only for NON CREAMY LAYER CERTIFICATE (NCLC). Economically Weaker Section (EW) Candidates as prescribed vide Resolution *No:EWS/122019/45903/2 of Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Gujarat dated 25/01/2019 (Annexure-KH in English or Annexure-C in Gujarati) only. present and the same shall be considered valid. -Candidates belonging to non-reserved category can pay application fee in post office by challan till 09.09.2023 till office hours of that post office and online at https://gpsc-ojas.gujarat.gov.in till 11:59 PM .
- Candidates are specially advised that the website will be open only till 11:59 PM on 08-09-2023 for online application.
